Deighton Rides for Heart

On June 6, 2010 the Deighton Bike Team participated in the 23rd Annual Ride for Heart. The Heart and Stroke Foundation has been hosting this unique event to raise crucial funds and save lives. In all 13,000 riders participated. The Deighton team was comprised of Jonathan, Jayne, Melanie and Jeff Zavitski, Rob Piane, Donna Rafiq, Arif Rafiq, Chris Chau, Kristin Talbot and Craig German.

Although the day was rainy and cold it was an amazing time and all for a great cause. There is nothing like the feeling of riding the Don Valley Parkway and Gardiner Expressway traffic-free, with the CN tower and the Toronto cityscape as a backdrop!
