dTIMS Workflow (wf) - Automating dTIMS Routines
by Dave Penney  dTIMS wf logo

Deighton is excited to introduce our newest product under development, dTIMS Workflow (wf). dTIMS wf is a virtual representation of your actual dTIMS processes. It consists of a sequence of connected dTIMS steps or instructions similar to a flowchart. Each branch in the flowchart passes instructions to dTIMS which consists of one or more simple or complex dTIMS processes.

dTIMS wf can help save you time by automating your manual dTIMS CT routines.
For example, the task of preparing for a new analysis year typically involves a series of steps which includes: creating new analysis segments, resetting new analysis segments, generating new strategies, optimizing budgets and more. To automate this process you could create a workflow for each step in the process. This would significantly reduce the amount of time you spend working in the software handling each of these dTIMS CT processes manually, thus freeing your time up for other tasks.

Watch for dTIMS wf at DUC 2010!

Vancouver 2010 Olympics End
by Craig German

The 2010 Winter Olympics, officially the XXI Olympic Winter Games, were held on February 12–28, 2010, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. As a tribute to the games, Deighton sponsored the sailboat of Gary St. Michel. Gary is an avid sailer and also part of the EBA Engineering Consultants Ltd. team who are distributors of Deighton software. Although Gary never medalled, since sailing is a summer event, he did capture this stunning picture of the Olympic Rings in Vancouver. Thanks Gary!
